# Anthropic Claude Opus 4.7

# Anthropic Claude Opus 4.7

Production में `anthropic/claude-opus-4.7` सुरक्षित रूप से अपनाने के लिए यह गाइड इस्तेमाल करें।

Claude Opus 4.7 request format बदलता है। पुराने 4.6 patterns अपडेट न करने पर request पूरी तरह fail हो सकती है।

## नया क्या है

* नया effort level: `xhigh` (Messages API)।
* Opus 4.7 में extended-thinking budgets हटा दिए गए हैं; `thinking: { type: "enabled", budget_tokens: ... }` अब fail होता है।
* इस model पर non-default sampling params सपोर्ट नहीं हैं: `temperature`, `top_p` और `top_k`।
* स्पष्ट रूप से opt in न करने पर thinking content शामिल नहीं होता।
* नया tokenizer, Opus 4.6 के मुकाबले token usage बढ़ा सकता है।

## Phaseo Gateway की संगतता

Migration की समस्याएँ घटाने के लिए Phaseo, Opus 4.7 पर पुराने Opus 4.6 fields स्वीकार करता है और upstream भेजने से पहले उन्हें normalize करता है:

* `temperature`, `top_p` और `top_k` स्वीकार होते हैं लेकिन हटा दिए जाते हैं।
* पुराने thinking budgets आगे नहीं भेजे जाते।
* Opus 4.7 thinking हमेशा `thinking: { "type": "adaptive", "display": "summarized" }` के रूप में भेजी जाती है।
* `reasoning.effort` अब भी लागू होता है और `output_config.effort` से map होता है (`xhigh` समर्थित है)।

## माइग्रेशन quickstart

### 1. Model ID अपडेट करें

Model ID को `anthropic/claude-opus-4.7` करें।

### 2. Summarized display के साथ adaptive thinking अपनाएँ

Opus 4.7 के लिए यह इस्तेमाल करें:

* `thinking: { "type": "adaptive", "display": "summarized" }`

पुराने extended-thinking budgets न इस्तेमाल करें।

### 3. Sampling controls हटाएँ

ये न भेजें:

* `temperature`
* `top_p`
* `top_k`

इसके बजाय prompts और instructions tune करें।

### 4. Effort controls की baseline फिर बनाएँ

Reasoning controls इस्तेमाल करते हों तो इनसे दोबारा जाँचें:

* baseline के रूप में `output_config.effort = "high"`।
* सबसे कठिन coding/agent paths के लिए `output_config.effort = "xhigh"`।

OpenAI-style payloads से Phaseo call करने पर Opus 4.7 में `reasoning.effort` उसी `output_config.effort` value पर map होता है।

### 5. Token limits फिर जाँचें

Tokenizer बदलने के कारण जाँचें:

* `max_tokens` / `max_output_tokens`
* timeout budgets
* cost controls और alerts

## क्या जाँचें

* प्रोडक्शन प्रॉम्प्ट के साथ संरचित आउटपुट स्कीमा की सख्त पास दर।
* लंबे टूल वर्कफ़्लो: कॉल की संख्या, पूर्णता दर और विलंब।
* `high` बनाम `xhigh` पर output quality का अंतर।
* सबसे ज़्यादा इस्तेमाल होने वाली prompt classes में token cost का अंतर।

## सुरक्षित rollout

1. Traffic बदलने से पहले request-format के बदलाव deploy करें।
2. Production eval suite पर Opus 4.7 को shadow करें।
3. Opus 4.6 पर rollback का विकल्प रखते हुए canary करें।
4. Quality, latency और cost के बदलाव लक्ष्य में हों तभी rollout बढ़ाएँ।
