# Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6

Production में `anthropic/claude-opus-4.6` सुरक्षित रूप से अपनाने के लिए यह गाइड इस्तेमाल करें।

Claude Opus 4.6 migration सिर्फ़ model ID बदलना नहीं है। Anthropic के निर्देशों में request changes, हटाए गए beta flags और prefills के लिए सख्त व्यवहार शामिल हैं।

## नया क्या है

* Claude 4.6 models अब assistant prefills सपोर्ट नहीं करते और `400` लौटाते हैं।
* Structured output अब `output_format` के बजाय `output_config.format` इस्तेमाल करता है।
* Adaptive thinking अब `output_config.effort` से सेट होती है।
* पुराने beta headers हटाएँ।
* Opus 4.6 को `interleaved-thinking-2025-05-14` beta header की ज़रूरत नहीं है।
* Opus 4.6 beta में 1M-token context window जोड़ता है और लंबे coding व agent tasks बेहतर करता है।

## माइग्रेशन quickstart

### 1. Assistant prefills हटाएँ

अगर assistant turn का कुछ हिस्सा पहले से भरकर JSON या response prefix लागू करते थे, तो यह तरीका 4.6 पर विफल होगा। इसके बजाय नियंत्रण यहाँ ले जाएँ:

* स्पष्ट system instructions
* user या system prompt में examples
* `output_config.format` के ज़रिए structured output

### 2. Structured output माइग्रेट करें

अगर अभी `output_format` भेजते हैं, तो request body को `output_config.format` पर अपडेट करें।

### 3. Thinking config की समीक्षा करें

पुराने thinking betas पर निर्भर होने पर `output_config` के मौजूदा `effort` setting पर माइग्रेट करें और latency-sensitive routes फिर जाँचें।

### 4. पुराने beta flags हटाएँ

SDK wrappers, middleware और Gateway presets में hard-coded beta headers की जाँच करें। पुराने flags rollout में अनावश्यक errors पैदा करते हैं।

* लंबे coding और refactor prompts।
* कई चरण वाले research या document workflows।
* वे prompts जो पहले assistant prefills पर निर्भर थे।
* 1M-token beta window इस्तेमाल करनी हो तो long-context tasks।

### कॉन्ट्रैक्ट और टूल

* `output_config.format` पर जाने के बाद schema pass rate।
* multi-step agent tasks में tool arguments की गुणवत्ता।
* model के मना करने या output reformat करने पर retry behavior।
* code review और debugging workflows में regressions का प्रबंधन।

### संचालन

* नई thinking settings पर median और p95 latency।
* लंबे runs में token consumption।
* बड़े context वाले tasks पर timeout rate।
* production eval set में Opus 4.5 की तुलना में success rate।

## सुरक्षित rollout

1. ट्रैफ़िक बदलने से पहले प्रीफ़िल हटाएँ और संरचित-आउटपुट कॉन्फ़िगरेशन माइग्रेट करें।
2. ज़रूरी प्रोडक्शन प्रॉम्प्ट पर Opus 4.6 को छाया-मोड में चलाएँ।
3. Opus 4.5 को फ़ॉलबैक रखते हुए ट्रैफ़िक को चरणबद्ध रूप से आज़माएँ।
4. Schema pass rate, latency और task completion स्थिर होने पर ही traffic बढ़ाएँ।
