# Instala un SDK de cliente

> Instala un SDK de cliente de Phaseo, define tu clave de API y envía una primera solicitud.

Añade el paquete de Phaseo para tu lenguaje, define `PHASEO_API_KEY` y envía tu primera solicitud. La [descripción general](https://phaseo.app/docs/es/v1/sdk-reference/client/overview.md) indica el registro y la versión publicada de cada paquete.

**1. Instala el paquete**

> Necesitas Rust 1.86 o posterior. El crate es anterior a `1.0` y su API todavía puede cambiar entre versiones menores, así que fija una versión menor compatible en producción.

**2. Define tu clave de API**

Crea una clave con `phaseo keys create` en la [CLI de Phaseo](https://phaseo.app/docs/es/v1/guides/integrations/phaseo-cli.md) o en [Claves de API](https://phaseo.app/settings/keys) y expórtala:

Guarda la clave en tu servidor. No la incluyas en un cliente de escritorio, móvil, de navegador ni en ningún otro cliente distribuido.

**3. Envía una solicitud**

Si no pasas una clave, el cliente lee `PHASEO_API_KEY` por su cuenta.

## Apunta el cliente a otra URL base

El tiempo de espera va en milisegundos en TypeScript (`timeoutMs`) y en segundos en Python (`timeout`). En Rust, también puedes definir `PHASEO_BASE_URL` (por ejemplo, `http://localhost:8787/v1`) para que `Phaseo::from_env()` lo use. Rust solo acepta HTTP simple cuando el host es exactamente `localhost` o una dirección IP de loopback; los endpoints remotos deben usar HTTPS.
